After School Program

After School Arts program

We will offer Monday – Friday after-school dance & art classes along with activities and games to keep your children engaged and have a blast. This program is the perfect way to fit in fun after-school extracurricular activities like dance classes, without interfering with parents’ work schedules.

Time: 2:30-5:30 (with pick up from school if needed)

We will also have weekly art projects on the go, games, learning-based play, outdoor time etc...

You will have the choice to allow your child to perform in our Christmas show and/or our year-end show.

What you will need

  • Clean indoor runners

  • Snacks (nut-free) * no candy, pop or junk foods 

  • Water bottle

  • Change of clothing 

  • Leotard & shorts or leggings (boys- t-shirt and shorts or pants) 

  • Black dance shoes (we will do an order if you don’t already have them)

Handbook

*Nut-free facility

*Must text or call if the child is absent from school before 11 am so we can inform the staff /drivers.

* Must be picked up no later than 5:30 pm unless the child is enrolled in another class at the studio. Please text if you get caught up and are running late. (any student without arranged late pickup permission will be subject to a $5/ every 5 minutes over time and it will go up to $10/ every 5 minutes after 30 minutes)

*Must send an after-school snack and water (labelled is best) **Extra dry snacks are always good

*Must send dance clothes/ activewear they can move in

*Must supply us with a booster seat for the year Must be for your child’s proper weight /height and not expired. (Parent's responsibility to double check)

*We will not release your child to someone other than those authorized on the registration paperwork (please communicate via text or in person should this change) **Please make sure they have ID for the first month as we learn about everyone’s family members.

* Please make sure your child has a change of clothes and a jacket/rain gear as we will be doing activities outdoors even through the fall months.

* Please send an art smock or an adult T-shirt for their art class with their name on it (it will stay at the studio for the year)

*Please note we follow the SD71 school district (so if school is closed or cancelled so our we) ie snow days

*There will be no refunds for being closed for holidays / pro D days/snow days .. or any natural disasters out of our control.

Fees 

Please note: Childcare fees are due on the first day of the month, even if the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday and must be submitted BEFORE 4:00 pm on the due date.

Full-time pricing 

Price $400/ month M-F program

Transportation is $100/ month 

Part-time pricing 

Price $300/ month (1-3 days a week)

Transportation is $100/month 

Extra 

Pro- D days – $40/day 8:00-4:00 pm

* Payment is due on the 1st of each month. (Options are E-transfer coastalartsacademy@gmail.com (password: ASP2023) / check made out to Eclat dance 

*Payments received after the due date will be subject to a penalty fee of $25.00. (per month) Accounts that are 15 days overdue will result in a written warning notice, should it not be settled by the written due date your child’s care will stop until paid in full.

*Returned cheques will be subject to a $50.00 service fee.

*No reduction in tuition for missed classes/ or holiday closures. (Pricing has been calculated and divided by the months and kept to a minimum to make it affordable)

Please note that a deposit of 50 % of September's tuition (no transportation included) is due to complete registration as well as the extended registration form. (Please see below link) If not received by May 25th your spot will be let go and given to the next waitlisted person. Please understand that transportation priority will be given to full-time students. Please note a deposit is non-refundable. 

The remainder of September's tuition will be due by July 1st with transportation to allow for time to fill any vacant spots in the program. Please note all payments are non-refundable.

The next payment will be due October 1st. 

*Must give 1 month’s written notice if withdrawing from the program
